About this cartoon: This cartoon references both President Obama arranging a prisoner swap with the Taliban in Afghanistan in order to free an American soldier -- a controversial action that is not unlike what Israel has done on several occasions to free its soldiers who have been held captive -- and ongoing problems with the Veterans Admnistration, including ineptness and inexcusable wait times that resulted in the deaths of many vererans (most notoriously at the Phoenix office of the VA).
