About this cartoon: California's booming population and soaring metropolitan housing prices have been driving homebuilders and would-be homeowners to the state's agricultural areas. New homes have been replacing farmland at a rate that is causing alarm, though very little action.
Noteworthy: Drawn for the San Francisco Examiner as my last cartoon there, but I am not aware that it was ever published.
