Title: Arnold initiatives
Published: Ventura County Star
Date: March 6, 2005
About this cartoon: Arnold Schwarzenegger initially tried to be a leader who could get opposing sides to work together in a non-partisan way. That didn't last long, as he grew increasingly testy, mocking the Democrats and openly showing his exasperation with the system. He proposed going directly to the voters — again — with not one, not two, but four ballot initiatives for reforms he wanted.
