About this cartoon: The2000 Census figures finally came out, and California now is just under one-third Hispanic. One-third of all Hispanics in the U.S. now are in California as well.
Noteworthy: Intended for the Marin IJ, but they worried that perhaps someone would take offense at this, and so they passed on it.
