about this cartoon: | Title:
Population growth chart Published: Seattle Post-Intelligencer Date: Oct. 22, 1994 About this cartoon: The forecasts for exponential world population growth pretty much look like depicted on this chart, so this was adding a cartoon image to an informational graphic to raise a concern about food supply. Noteworthy: This was conceived at, and drawn shortly after I attended, the United Nations Population Conference in Cairo, Egypt; I was there receiving the Global Media Award for cartooning on population issues, courtesy of The Population Institute. | ||||||||||||||
