More about this cartoon:

Title: Islam and cartoons
Published: Jewish Journal of Greater Los Angeles
Date: Feb. 10, 2006
About this cartoon: A publication in Denmark issued a provocative challenge, inviting cartoonists do draw cartoons depicting the prophet Muhammed, something strictly prohibited in Islam. If the intention of the Danes was to show Muslims have no sense of humor regarding their religion, then the point was proven solidly, as weeks of riots and demonstrations led to dozens of deaths and countless death threats. Funny, though, that religiously-insulting cartoons are everyday material in the Arab press... as long as they're targeted at Jews.
