About this cartoon: I do a lot of cartoons on the environment, as well as on Jewish themes, and decided to do a cartoon that combined both areas. This ran to go with the newspaper's Tu B'Shevat commentaries.
Noteworthy: I am not a scholar of Kabbalah, and have only a slight familiarity with it, much of it from my former rabbi in Seattle, Ted Falcon, who wrote a book on the topic. For the color version, I used a host of web sites for further info, including regarding color designations for the various "sephirot," or spheres.
