About this cartoon: In an effort to combat dwindling circulation and/or profits, some newspapers and chains tried various partnerships with online products, TV programming or with their own advertising departments (the Los Angeles Times tried this, and it backfired badly after an "advertorial" section about the news Staples Center arena).
Noteworthy: This never drew any response, but I felt it was nicely done.
