More about this cartoon:
Title: Comics centennial
Published: Editor & Publisher
Date: Nov. 18, 1995
About this cartoon: A cartoon to commemorate the 100th anniversary of comic strips in newspapers, dating from "The Yellow Kid", using a parody of the famous Rube Goldberg "inventions"
Noteworthy: This is a takeoff on the famous "inventions" of Rube Goldberg, a Pulitzer-winning cartoonist, president of the National Cartoonists Society and the person e-mail domain I use is named for. This was a fun and very popular cartoon. The original of this is in the archives of the International Museum of Cartoon Art in Boca Raton, Florida.
