More about this cartoon:
Title: Another New Yorker
Published:
Date: Oct., 2001
About this cartoon: The national security measures adopted after the Sept. 11 terrorist attack, and additional measures proposed by the Attorney General, offered domestic security... but at the potential expense of civil liberties. The irony is that an attempt to protect part of America's freedom might cost another part of our freedom.
Noteworthy: This may be a bad rap against the legendary urban fears of New York City residents, but it helped make the cartoon work.
