About this cartoon: Massive General Motors, long the world's leading automaker and the nation's biggest private employer, limped into bankruptcy as pressed by President Obama after many billions of bailout dollars were unable to right its sinking ship. Unbelievable. What emerges will be a healthier (maybe, if consumers actually want to buy their cars) and much smaller company, say the pundits.
