About this cartoon: In Seattle, as elsewhere, mega-retailers such as Borders, Barnes & Noble and Amazon.com were gradually putting local independent bookstores out of business.
Noteworthy: I was disappointed by the lack of response to this cartoon, but I did see one bookstore post it in its front window.
