About this cartoon: Bank of America announced it would start charging consumers $5 a month ($60 a year) for them to make purchases using their debit cards. A firestorm of anger erupted at the bank, partly an effect of the "Occupy Wall Street" movement's highlighting financial abuses in America by the rich and by corporate interests, and B of A was forced to withdraw its plan to further gouge its customers.
