About this cartoon: President Obama drew "red lines" on Syria's Bashar Assad's use of chemical weapons against his own people, but was not really anxious to use military force for an unpredictable outcome. Fortunately, help came at the last minute from Russia, Assad's backer, offering an international disposal of Assad's chemical arsenal, a solution Obama was happy to embrace.
