About this cartoon: A series of major forest fires led President Bush to recommend a forest-thinning policy to reduce fuel supplies. Not a bad idea, but environmentalists are worried that someone well-known as not being environmentally-friendly could easily abuse such a policy into a wholesale logging open door.
Noteworthy: In case you were wondering, I hand-drew about 60% of the stumps, and copied and reduced them to fill in the rest.
