Title: Livni-Netanyahu
Published: Jewish Journal of Greater Los Angeles
Date: Feb. 20, 2009
About this cartoon: The Israeli election left the nation deeply divided and two candidates, Tzipi Livni of centrist Kadima and Benjamin Netanyahu of conservative Likud, virtually deadlocked. Each needed to recruit several other parties to obtain a majority coalition (advantage to Netanyahu), and Livni was unwilling to submit to working with Netanyahu in anything other than an equal role.
